There is nothing to lose and everything to gain. SurfGiver creates a platform for charities/non-profits to benefit from their supporters doing their online shopping. Whether it is buying books, dvd's or groceries, SurfGiver has an ingenious way of creating money out of nothing.
Will this cost us anything?
No, nothing at all. We have developed the platform for users to direct a percentage (average of 3% but as high as 10%) of the purchase price of any item from any shop found with our search tool to you. This money is built into the price of the item and cost the purchaser nothing extra.
How does SurfGiver make money?
We take a small percentage (10%) of of each commission paid. Again, this costs the charity and the user nothing at all.
What types of organisations are eligible?
All organisations with charitable status are allowed. Other organisations such as schools and non-profits are welcome too. Our main criteria for inclusion is "Are you benefitting humankind, animals or the environment?". Each submission is verified and we reserve the right to deny any organisation inclusion on this website.
Is SurfGiver only in the United Kingdom?
So far the answer is YES, but we are in the process of developing the site and tools for international use. Please check back regularily and contact us if you would like to see SurfGiver in your country.
Is SurfGiver secure, what bank details will i have to give?
You can give as much or as little as you like. If you would like the money to be transfered by BACS then we need basic banking details, only enough to deposit. All banking information is encrypted on our server and we don't sell or distribute your details, so they are safe with us.
